Dr. Patrick Moore, CSCP Chairman of the Board

With a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of British Columbia, Patrick Moore has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 30 years. He is a founding member of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International. Patrick was a driving force shaping policy and direction while Greenpeace became the world's largest environmental activist organization.

Richard has extensive professional experience in strategic communications, public and governmental relations and organizational development. He served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition for Stephen Harper when Mr. Harper was Leader of the Canadian Alliance and the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC). Richard was Chief Organizer of the Québec campaign for Mr. Harper in the 2004 Leadership Campaign of the CPC.

For thirty years of his career, John developed and made novel energy saving industrial and construction products and systems. He managed various manufacturing businesses in Canada and the UK, and has invested in or provided consulting advice to over fifteen high technology start-up businesses. In 1985 John founded Celfortec Inc., which still makes extruded polystyrene insulation - energy saving foam board - in Valleyfield, Québec. In the mid-1990s John was Vice Chairman of The Canadian Plastics Industry Association, and its Leader of the Year in 1996.
